What is a Hair Transplant?
Hair transplantation is a permanent and effective hair transplant procedure that eliminates the problem of baldness in the desired area. The techniques used vary depending on the type of hair loss and the quantity and quality of the grafts in the donor area.

What is Graft?
A structure called graft is a sac-shaped structure that is removed for transplantation from the area where the hair follicles are located and will be a donor (the area where healthy hair follicles are removed to be planted in thearea experiencing baldness). The nape region is usually preferred as the donor region.
Who Can Do Hair Transplantation?
There is no gender or age discrimination in the hair transplantation procedure. It can be applied to clients from the age of 20. However, in order for the hair transplantation process to be planned in a controlled manner, it is necessary to check and test the client’s medical information such as blood values, diseases and chronic conditions that he/she has undergone. Hair transplantation can also be easily applied to clients with scars and burn scars.
How much time should be allocated for the hair transplantation procedure?
Hair transplantation is completed within the agreed operation day. After that, the person who has undergone a hair transplantation takes a 1 day of rest and can continue his/her daily life, can do daily work and trips under condition that it is not too tiring. On the third day after the operation, the hair washing procedure is performed by the doctor. Therefore, 3 to 4 days on average will be enough to allocate to the hair transplantation procedure, depending on the amount of hair transplanted.
How is the Hair Transplantation Operation Performed?
First of all, the hair transplantation operation should be planned. After checking the medical history and current health status of the patient, the area experiencing baldness should be evaluated and the number of follicles and grafts needed is must be calculated accordingly.And as the final stage of planning, the appropriate hair transplantation method is selected.
Hair transplantation begins accompanied by local anesthesia. Afterwards, the grafts are collected from the donor area by transferring to the area where the operation will be performed. This operation lasts on average between 6 and 8 hours. There will be no dilution of the hair follicles in the donor area. The first washing of your hair and scalp on the designated day after the operation is performed by your doctor. The first washing is a sensitive procedure and our patients should not attempt to do this procedure themselves. In order not to damage the hair transplant area, the crusted area should be softened with various lotions and then the washing process should be carried out gently by professionals.
HAIR TRANSPLANTATION TECHNIQUES
FUE Hair Transplantation
It is the technique of selecting a donor area by transplanting your own hair roots to the area where baldness / hair loss is experienced and collecting grafts from that area using a micromotor and opening channels in the direction of the hair direction to the problematic area and transplanting. It does not require suturing or incision opening. This technique is often used in cases of receding forehead line, opening at the temples and regional baldness.
SAPPHIRE FUE Hair Transplantation
The FUE technique is used again, but the channels in the area where will be the operation, are opened with the help of a sapphire tipped device, the healing process is observed to be shorter and tissue trauma occurs at a minimum level.
DHI Hair Transplantation
It is the process of direct hair transplantation, the grafts taken from the donor area are planted directly without the need to open the channel to the area where the hair transplant will be performed. In this method, using a medical pen named Choi-Pen, the hair follicles are first removed, and then planted in the problematic area with the same pen. It is usually a preferred technique for patients who complains about incomplete hair loss. With this technique, the waiting time of the collected grafts is reduced and the risk of loss of the collected healthy roots is minimized.

The hair transplantation without shaving method preferred by men and women with long hair is performed with Sapphire Fue technique, but what makes this technique different is that only a very small area is shaved on the neck, which is the donor area.
